Welcome to the Deaf Professionals Network!

Welcome to the Deaf Professionals Network!

Share. Learn. Inspire

Deaf people are becoming more successful in pursuing professional careers. However, there are gaps in networking opportunities which result from a lack of empowerment in the work place and communication barriers. This group provides an opportunity to network to share experiences.

The network is primarily for d/Deaf people professionals and individuals seeking to develop their careers who live in or around London.

This network can offer ideas and inspiration for finding that first step on the career ladder and benefit established professionals by providing the opportunity to share success stories, contacts and practical solutions to the challenges that face d/Deaf professionals.

Members can also join our Yahoo email group: by signing up on this link http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dpn/

DPN has a website: https://deafprofessionals.wordpress.com/

You can find us tweeting away on Twitter at http://twitter.com/deafprofessnetw

We also have a blog, where we discuss issues and current events within the deaf professionals sector – http://deafprofessionals.blogspot.com

We aim to hold at least 3 talks a year with a bi-annual AGM. We also have a constitution. If you wish to have a copy, please email your request to deafprofessionals@gmail.com

Please see the Future Events section for information about upcoming talks and events.
